    Description: The Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) is currently out of contract with its provider of fixed lines services (Primus Commander).
    Therefore the Commission is seeking offers for provision of fixed line services based on a 3 year contract with 2 optional 12 month extensions.
    AHRC provides ICT services to both AHRC and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
    Currently the Commission is using an Avaya VOIP system and is looking to transition to SIP trunks within the next 12-18 months.
    Note that the Commission currently has a Canberra Office with approximately 30 staff that will close down prior to the end of 2014. This will affect the volumes of calls.
    Conditions for Participation: Successful Tenderers will be required to execute an Official Order for Services under Australian Government Telecommunications Arrangements (AGTA - The Australian Government Telecommunications Arrangements head agreement entered into between a supplier and the Commonwealth of Australia for the provision of telecommunications services under which an Official Order is issued. For the purposes of this RFT and any resultant contractual arrangements, Whole of Government Telecommunications Arrangements (WoGTA) Head Agreements that continue in force are deemed to be AGTA Head Agreements)
    The terms and conditions of the Official Order that the AHRC intends to execute are set out in within this RFT. This is a standing offer under which the AHRC (and their Authorised Personnel) can place orders for particular Services. The Draft Official Order has been drafted to:
    1.1.1 allow the AHRC to agree to the terms and conditions for a particular Contract, but only after following the processes set out in the Official Order;
    1.1.2 allow flexibility for suppliers to update their available Services, but only to the extent that any new or updated Services fall within the scope of this RFT; and
    1.1.3 incorporate flexibility for transition to a revised, refreshed or replaced AGTA.
    Timeframe for Delivery: Closing 5.00 pm, 29 July 2014.
