CAPITAL & COAST DISTRICT HEALTH BOARD. ADVANCE NOTICE - DATA VISUALISATION BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE (BI) SOFTWARE.
RFx ID: 18488151.
Close Date: Friday 28 April 2017 at 4.00 pm.
Notice of Information (NOI).
Overview: Capital & Coast District Health Board (CCDHB) intends to procure data visualisation business intelligence (BI) software before December 2017.
A RFI was sought in February. There were 19 responses to the RFI. The DHB thanks all respondents for supporting the indicative business case.
In March our ELT has endorsed an indicative business case for using new data visualisation BI software and authorised a competitive tender process to be undertaken. The outcome of this process will be a detailed business case supporting a preferred provider. There is no guarantee that the detailed business case will be accepted.
Likely two-stage process:
The high level of interest may mean that a two stage process will be undertaken: registration of interest (ROI) and short-listing, followed by request for proposal. The exact nature of the process will be determined before the end of March and will be clear when the proposal process is listed on GETS.
We expect to issue the ROI in April. Given the Easter and the school holidays at the start of the month, it may be closer to the end of April.
We are exploring the option of requesting that the bulk of the ROI submission is by video rather than 'paper'. We would still accept 'paper' submissions but feel that the nature of the software product lends itself better to video. We would detail our expectations about the structure and content of any such video and we may choose to provide anonymised data to assist you to tailor the video to our situation. There would be some requirements that could not easily be shown in video and those would require a 'paper-based' submission. Please send in any concerns you would have about this kind of process by Monday 27 March 2017 at 9.00 am.
Communications prior to the issuing of the ROI:
The DHB does not wish to receive product presentations prior to the issuing of the ROI. However, if vendors wish to speak to someone prior to the issue date, they may contact us.
During the RFI process, vendors asked a number of questions that related to the DHB's detailed requirements and many were technical. As we develop those requirements over the coming fortnight, we would appreciate it if you could please email with any questions you feel need answering as part of the ROI documentation.
Please have those questions to us by Monday 27 March 2017 at 9.00 am.

DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING. 1617-135 CASE AND MATTER MANAGEMENT SOLUTION EOI. EXPRESSION OF INTEREST. Number: 1617-135.
Contacts: Mark Sanderson, Type: Technical, email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Description: The Department of Education and Training (DET) has identified an opportunity to enhance and electronically enable business processes, which are fundamental to the effective and efficient provision of legal services, employee conduct advice and complaints management.
As part of a broader Complaints Reform Program agenda in DET, it was recognised that there are likely synergies in the case management requirements of the DET Legal, Employee Conduct and Integrity and Assurance business areas and more broadly across other business areas of the Department that could benefit from an enterprise case management solution.
As such the DET is looking for the market to provide, implement and support a consolidated enterprise case management solution, ideally a Commercial-Off-The Shelf (COTS) product or Cloud Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering that can meet its case management and related requirements with a minimum of customisation.
DET is looking for the initial solution implementation to address the immediate requirements of the Legal, Employee Conduct and Integrity and Assurance business areas, however DET expects the solution to be sufficiently flexible to support the case management requirements of other DET business areas going forward.
The key objectives of the solution implementation are to:· Increase staff productivity and efficiencies by supporting staff in the provision of high quality and timely services.
· Increase the efficiency and accuracy of information associated with records management obligations.
· Provide a single source of truth to support information retrieval and accurate reporting
· Increase the visibility of matters across the Department.
· Support effective decision making through improved reporting capability.
· Contribute to the provision of consistent advice and services.
· Ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
DET is seeking to gain a more detailed understanding of the vendor market and range of solutions that may be available. DET intends to use responses to this EOI to shortlist for future stages of this procurement.

THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE DEVELOPMENT - ABORIGINAL CULTURAL HERITAGE INFORMATION SYSTEM - ONLINE PORTAL PROJECT. REQUEST FOR TENDER.
Tender Code: DSD040890. Contract Number: 1617100.
Description: The Department of State Development, Aboriginal Affairs and Reconciliation (DSD-AAR) seeks Information and Communications Technology (ICT) development services to develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive Aboriginal cultural heritage information management system.
It seeks a system that integrates geospatial, database information and services into a solution accessible via an online portal.
The solution will need to meet the current needs of the agency as well as future needs which have been introduced by recent amendments to the Aboriginal Heritage Act 1988.
A review of the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Register and Information System (ACHRIS) developed by Aboriginal Victoria and adapted by the Department of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships (DATSIP) Queensland was undertaken by DSD-AAR in November 2016. The study identified an 85% fit of the ACHRIS system with DSD-AAR's heritage information system requirements.
The study resulted in the articulation of high level requirements of the future system, sufficient to inform an accurate design proposal and quotation by a third party.
Three scoping documents are attached to this plan:· DSD-AAR Current and Future Requirements (Attachment 1)
· DSD-AAR Gap Analysis (Attachment 2)
· DSD-AAR Use Cases (Attachment 3)
Tender parties have two options:
1. tender for the full development, implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive cultural heritage information system based on DSD-AAR's Current and Future Requirements; or
2. custom development of the ACHRIS based on the DSD-AAR Gap Analysis of ACHRIS and DSD-AAR's Current and Future Requirements.
Tender closes at 4:00pm Adelaide time 24 April 2017.
Briefing: A briefing session will be held at Level 4 (Training Room), 11 Waymouth Street, Adelaide, on 6th April 2017 at 11:00am.

AIRWAYS. UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT.
RFx ID: 18485337.
Close Date: Friday, 21 April 2017 at 4:00 PM.
Tender Type: Registration of Interest (ROI).
Overview: In 2013 Airways recognised the emerging drone industry in New Zealand and the potential impact the industry could have on our traditional air navigation services. Following consultation with the drone industry, Airways, in collaboration with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle New Zealand (UAVNZ, New Zealand's drone industry body), launched airshare.co.nz.
The airshareTM web portal was developed to educate drone flyers about Civil Aviation rules by providing easy to understand information and encourage safe flying. Airshare also enables the drone industry by providing an online tool to log flights and obtain authorisation from Air Traffic Control for operations within controlled airspace.
Whilst airshareTM has streamlined the drone authorisation processes for Airways at the present time, we recognise that this system will not be fit for purpose for the predicted exponential growth in drone traffic. Both Airways and drone operators will be in need of an autonomous drone management system to allow safe, efficient operations and access to controlled airspace.
In addition to the needs of Airways and its drone customers, there are numerous government and non-government stakeholders who each hold a unique set of requirements for a drone management system. Airways is taking the lead in this space on behalf of New Zealand stakeholders and we are seeking information through this RFI from Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM)
