    The Eliminate Dengue Program (THE PROGRAM) is a non-for-profit research program within Monash University that seeks to significantly decrease mosquito-transmitted diseases like dengue, chikungunya and Zika. These diseases are wreaking havoc on the lives of millions of the world's poor living in tropical cities of the developing world. We aim to help reduce the disease burden in the communities that need it most but don't have the resources to do it alone.
    THE PROGRAM is looking to partner with an organisation with a keen sense of social responsibility that can provide a team of flexible size and skills distribution to adjust to the changing requirements of our Program.
    In particular, THE PROGRAM seeks to partner with an Agile software development partner to develop key software properties that contribute to our strategic program and organisation objectives and outcomes, with a focus on a core data platform that collects and reports on entomological field data, and a web-based learning platform for knowledge transfer to new project sites (Catalyst).
    The scope of the engagement with any chosen contractor will include further development and maintenance of our existing software, and may include the development of new applications as required.

    RFx ID: 18398971.
    Close Date: Friday, 10 March 2017 at 3:30 PM.
    Tender Type : Request for Proposals (RFP).
    Overview: The Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) working alongside with Inland Revenue, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Social Development, Ministry of Justice and Accident Compensation Corporation, want to build digital tools to make it easier for New Zealanders to adequately prepare for their own death while easing the burden for the next-of-kin and will executors following their death. We anticipate contracting under the new Common Capability Professional Services Agreement (CC PSA), soon to be available (replacing the expired Common Web Services Panel).
    This is a unique opportunity to be part of a cross-government agency initiative that really makes a difference in the lives of New Zealanders. Our first life event to make it easier for expectant parents around the birth of their child, led to SmartStart (smartstart.services.govt.nz). The same team that delivered SmartStart will be delivering the "Preparing for and managing bereavement" life event.
    DIA plans to deliver the following pieces of work by 30 June 2017:
    1. a responsive web application that consolidates bereavement information allowing New Zealanders to:
    a. learn about how they can:
    i. better prepare for their own death to reduce the burden on their next-of-kin;
    ii. manage the funeral arrangements;
    iii. undertake the role of executor of a deceased estate
    b. navigate government and private sector bereavement services; and
    c. simplify their engagement with government and private sector services.
    2. an end-of-life preference service that stores preferences around funeral and financial arrangements that can be provided to determined contacts.
    3. further enhancements to SmartStart including incorporation of Birth Registration Online into SmartStart.
    The above opportunities can be via one or more supplier.
    Discovery work, including customer insight, for Bereavement has been completed, and access to this information can be requested via bereavement@dia.govt.nz. Following your email request, you will be given access to our community realtime board and service design work.

    Request for Proposals (RFP).

    Monash University is a large Melbourne based university with approximately 70,000 students and 15,000 staff across seven local and international campuses.
    The university has a large digital presence focussed around http://monash.edu and http://study.monash with over 125 additional internet and intranet sites utilised by various faculties and business units across the university. These sites collectively record in excess of 30 million sessions per year.
    Over recent years, Monash University has transitioned to the Squiz Matrix Content Management System (CMS) for these sites, with all migrations being recently completed.
    The goal of this RFP is to locate and select additional suppliers familiar with this Squiz Matrix platform, to enable Monash University to continue to transform its web presence and, in particular, enable it to innovate in education and research, respond to changing customer needs, and communicate via new and emerging media.
    We are also seeking to enhance the online interaction our customers have with us, leading them to a deeper relationship with the University. This will require a greater level of interaction between web and enterprise systems around CRM (Salesforce), Future Students and Research Communities and a richer understanding and monitoring of the user journeys within those interactions.
    Monash University has limited internal Squiz Matrix development capability and is looking to extend the resource pool with external resources in order to supplement our development pool in an efficient and cost effective manner
    Please note Part C Conditions of Contract will be added to this RFP before the end of the week.

    DOUGLAS SHIRE COUNCIL. FARE COLLECTION NETWORK AT DAINTREE RIVER FERRY. REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (Public).
    Tender Code DSC006152.
    Description: The Daintree River is located within the Douglas Shire and the only means of vehicular transport across the river is by the Daintree River Ferry, which is a cable ferry. The service provided by the Daintree River Ferry is an essential service providing connectivity between the northern and southern parts of the Douglas Shire Council and further north to the Wujal Wujal Shire and the Cook Shire via the Bloomfield Track. The Daintree River Ferry is a vital component of the Council's road network and to ensure the effective and efficient transport of vehicles across the river, a robust, reliable and innovative fare collection network is paramount.
    What is Required:
    Council is seeking to install a fare collection network that is:· concise, contemporary and compliant;
    · user friendly particularly for ferry staff who are the 'front of office' operators;
    · robust hardware that can be operated in the various weather conditions experienced in the tropics;
    · that delivers innovative options for the consumer including but not limited to on-line ticket purchases, off-site ticket purchases and at the same time meeting all contractual requirements between Council and the ferry operator;
    · greater use of technology to automate current manual procedures including validation of fares / concessional travel;
    · creates efficiencies at time of travel (including accurate collection of statistical data) and through reconciliation and back office administration; and
    · provides real time access by Council staff to the receipting process and comprehensive reporting options.
    Although the receipting at the Daintree River Ferry is Council's main priority, Council also operates the Wonga Beach Caravan Park and it would be desirable, but not essential, if the fare collection for the caravan park could utilise the same system.
    Enquiries: Lloyd Nunns, telephone: (07) 4099-9505, (07) 4099-9444.
    Tender closes at 2:00pm Brisbane time 15 February 2017.
