Overview: Auckland District Health Board has fifteen dental chairs which have passed their expiry date. They need an urgent replacement of the three chairs which needs to be installed by 1st April 2018. The rest of the chairs will be replaced every year thereafter. This replacement will support efficient Oral Health safety practice, improve the patient experience, PVS delivery and ESPI compliance.

Central Queensland, Wide Bay, Sunshine Coast PHN (the PHN) is one of 31 Commonwealth funded PHNs nationwide. It is a not for profit organisation which coordinates primary and preventative healthcare that takes place outside of a hospital, such as by GPs and allied health and includes addressing chronic disease management, older person's health, mental health and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health. The PHN identifies where there are areas of need, such as lack of healthcare services, difficulty in accessing services, or regions with, particularly high health needs. The PHN works closely with general practice, allied health care providers, hospitals and the broader community to establish services to enable patients to receive the right care in the right place at the right time.
The PHN covers a region of 161,000km2, with a population of 823,985 people; stretching from Glasshouse Mountains in the south to the north of Yeppoon and west of Emerald.
The PHN is seeking new members to join an existing GP-led, multidisciplinary Clinical Council, who can act in a strategic advisory capacity to the Chief Executive Officer and Board of the PHN. The aim is to improve the operations of the health system, for patients residing within the in the PHN region, by facilitating the provision of effective primary health care. The aim is to reduce avoidable hospital presentations and admissions and improve overall health outcomes. Clinical Councils will be expected to work in partnership with Hospital and Health Services in their local communities.
The PHN is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) for new members to join the Clinical Council in the following sub-regions (please refer to the current vacancies outlined in the EOI Briefing Paper, downloadable with this notice):
1. Central Queensland
2. Wide Bay
3. Sunshine Coast.

To be eligible applicants must:
- reside or practice in the geographical area they are nominating for;

- have a focus on measures of achievement of key outputs and outcomes;

Capital Health Network (CHN)-Australian Capital Territory Primary Health Network,and COORDINARE-South Eastern New South Wales Primary Health Network, invite Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from providers interested in submitting a Request for Proposal (RFP) to become a lead agency for headspace services in Canberra, Queanbeyan and Bega Valley.
headspace offers early intervention services for 12 to 25 year olds across the key areas of mental health; related physical health; social and vocational support; and alcohol and other drug use.
headspace Canberra and Queanbeyan are currently operated by headspace Services Limited, a subsidiary of headspace National Office. headspace Bega Valley is a new headspace service, funded in the most recent round of headspace services and is yet to be established.
CHN and COORDINARE will be undertaking a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) process to identify lead agencies for these services and are currently developing the relevant documentation. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released in October 2017, accompanied by an industry briefing. The RFP will include service specifications for each of the services and the evaluation criteria.
In the interim, CHN and COORDINARE would like to determine the level of interest in the three headspace services through an EOI process. To express interest, please complete and submit the EOI form to MHSPcommissioning@coordinare.org.au by close of business 27 September 2017.
