    Overview: This Registration of Interest is an invitation to suitably qualified suppliers to submit a Registration for the National Bowel Screening Programme (NBSP) national screening solution contract opportunity. We are seeking a prime supplier to deliver a Commercial off the Shelf solution to meet the requirements of the NBSP, including providing ongoing maintenance and support. The contract will be for an initial term of five years with five rights of renewal for two years each.
    This is the first of a two-stage competitive procurement process. The purpose of this first stage is to evaluate supplier capability to produce a shortlist of qualified Respondents. The shortlisted Respondents will be invited to submit a full proposal in response to a Request for Proposals at the second stage of this procurement process.
    The primary objective of bowel screening is to reduce the mortality rate from bowel cancer in New Zealand by diagnosing and treating bowel cancer at an early, curable stage. The national screening solution will support this objective by providing a population register for screening participants that can issue invitations for initial screening, recall individuals for repeat screening, follow those with identified abnormalities, correlate with morbidity and mortality results, monitor and evaluate the programme and its impact and have the capacity to support programme audits.
    We are seeking a provider who is capable of implementing a national screening solution within the scale and complexity of the New Zealand health sector, and integrating it with specialised health systems across New Zealand's 20 District Health Boards. The selected supplier will be in a position to build a longstanding relationship with the Ministry and wider health sector stakeholders.

    Overview: The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) process is to invite interested parties to provide information to Waitemata District Health Board (WDHB) in relation to the provision of an Asset Management and Facilities Management system for WDHB assets, including asset and facilities management software provision, implementation/integration and ongoing support.
    Waitemata District Health Board (WDHB) serves the largest DHB population in the country - more than 580,000 people. WDHB operates North Shore Hospital, on the shores of Lake Pupuke in Takapuna, and Waitakere Hospital in west Auckland. The existing asset base has a book value of approximately $710 million (as at 30 June 2016). This consists of Land, Buildings, Clinical Equipment, Other Equipment, Motor Vehicles and IT.
    WDHB have a number of asset and facilities management systems in use that vary in maturity and quality. WDHB is looking to improve its asset management capabilities to achieve an upper-intermediate/advanced level of asset management maturity within the next six years. As well as redeveloping our asset management information system, we need to implement the organisational change management required to support continuous improvement in asset management maturity. The supplier should have detailed knowledge of the IIMM framework and ISO 55000. Also important to us is that the provider has awareness of asset management challenges in the healthcare industry, ideally in New Zealand.
    WDHB is looking to improve its facilities management system to ensure the effective and efficient operational management of its facilities including compliance and risk management and improved management of contracts and contractor information to help align to new Health and Safety legislation. The success of this project is reliant on the success of the change management to ensure that the knowledge and processes are in place for staff to utilise the full functionality of the system and ensure that data integrity is maintained.
