Overview: Council is revitalising one of Kapiti's most loved public spaces and we are looking for a lead civil construction contractor to carry out the works. <br/>
Maclean Park is one of the premier waterfront parks on the Kapiti Coast and this project is part of the first stage of implementation of a long-term development plan for the park. This will be a high profile public infrastructure project which will continue the transformation of Maclean Park into a high quality, contemporary urban park that the community is proud of. <br/>
We are seeking tenders from suitably qualified contractors. The works will involve the removal of the remaining existing pond feature and replacement with a high quality public landscape to enhance the character and function of the park. The council will provide landscape designs for the work along with managing all public communications during the works. In addition to the construction works, Council also require civil design services from the successful contractor to verify the landscape design and provide input into the consenting process for earthworks and stormwater. Council will manage and prepare the relevant consent applications with input from the contractor where needed. <br/>
A preferred supplier will be chosen through this process and we will work with them to finalise specific details required through resource consent process to confirm the detailed design. <br/>

Play Grounds and what we intend to do:<br/>· Some of the play equipment and soft fall surfaces within the parks has been deemed to be at the end of its useful life and /or beyond economical repair.<br/>· We intend to replace the play equipment identified with like for like or similar themed play equipment.<br/>· We also intend to replace the soft fall play surfaces. New soft fall surfaces must meet the critical height fall standards and meet NZS 5828:2015 standards.<br/>

The City of Sydney invites Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations for Landscape Works and Sports Field and Park Turfing Schedule of Rates<br/>
The Contract will form a panel of approved contractors and be based on schedules of rates. The term of the Contract will be for a period of three (3) years, with an option, at the City's discretion for an additional period of two (2) years.<br/>
The tenderer will be required to undertake minor landscape renewal/ upgrade works and turfing works on a schedule of rates basis. Works will contribute to the continual improvement of City of Sydney managed parks and open spaces within the Local Government Area. <br/>
Works include, but are not limited to: Professional services; Preliminaries; Demolition, removal and site preparation; Pavements; Edging; Structures; Park furniture; Soft landscaping, planting and plant establishment; Turfing; and/or Sports field and turf works.<br/>
The successful tenderers shall provide all labour, materials, equipment, plant and managerial resources necessary to conduct the services.<br/>

The tender objective is to engage a Contractor to provide and carryout all construction works associated with the construction of Allan Avenue Reserve, corner of Allan Ave and Duff St, Turramurra.
