Description: King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH) is Western Australia's (WA) public tertiary maternity, neonatal and gynaecological hospital. As the State's largest maternity hospital and only referral centre for complex pregnancies, KEMH oversees over 6,000 births each year and provides clinical expertise to WA's most unwell expectant mothers and babies with a state-of-the-art 100 bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. KEMH also sees 5000 women for gynaecological conditions each year, including urological and cancer related issues. KEMH continues to deliver first class care to women and infants across WA.
KEMH requires the replacement of its existing dishwasher system. The new system must be capable of servicing the following requirements:· 150 bed public hospital, specialising in maternity services
· Three (3) full meals provided each day (one continental breakfast, one hot lunch and one hot dinner service)

· Staff Cafeteria catering for 30 meals for lunch and 10 meals for dinner

ABOUT BEGA VALLEY SHIRE COUNCIL: Council area extends from Bermagui in the north to the Victorian border in the south and includes the towns of Bega, Tathra, Merimbula, Tura Beach, Wolumla, Cobargo, Bemboka, Pambula, Pambula Beach, Towamba and the former whaling port of Eden. The construction of a new amenities building to replace the existing dilapidated asbestos structure is one of Council's key Projects for 2018/19. The amenities will include the demolition of the existing structure and constructing a brand new change room, first aid room, office and canteen to support the community of Tottenham.
The new amenities building is of Brick Veneer Construction with a skillion roof, clad in Colorbond steel. The canteen will be constructed to comply with the applicable Australian Standards.
The key date for the project completion is governed by the start of the swimming season 2018. The required completion date is the 15 September 2018. If a Tenderer cannot complete the project before the given date than a separate part of the building hand over becomes an alternative Management Plan for the Tenderer.
