    What we don't want is a provider to maintain the overall RDA and/or FAC systems. We are looking for a provider who will be in charge of the coded templates only.
    What's important to us:
    We are looking for a provider with minimum 2 years of specialised experience and a proven track record working with and developing in Microsoft Office Templates / Addins / Open DoPE (VB for Office type of work), who will be able to attend to issues within 4 hours (Monday -Friday, 7am-7pm) and respond to request within 2 hours (acknowledgment of receiving our request). The desired provider must have at least 2 resources that can be allocated to MSD requested work; MSD cannot accept single resource proposals due to the business risk involved.

    Description: The National Measurement Institute (NMI) requires an experienced database manager to work with its scientific teams and general managers on the maintenance of its existing databases and the development of new systems. There are a number of databases involved that are employed across a range of business units which require upgrading on an ongoing basis to meet the ever changing needs from new technical requirements, new client requirements or new needs with respect to high level reporting of data. The databases are largely FilemakerPro based and allow the automation of many processes within NMI's laboratories. They additionally record detailed sales data and allow business analysis of NMI's dealings with its clients allowing trend analysis of different sectors, products etc.
    It is envisaged that the work involved will require the services of a contractor for up to a maximum of 26.25 hour per week for 48 weeks of the year, i.e. a total of up to 1260 hours per annum. Due to the nature of this work it will need to be undertaken at NMI premises and personnel to deliver these services are expected to hold a Australian Government security clearance to at least the Protected level or be eligible to obtain such a security clearance.
    Conditions for Participation: The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender must not be named as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth).
    The tenderer confirms that in dealing with its employees and independent contractors, the tenderer has due regard to Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, comply with Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, including the obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth) and relevant work health and safety laws.
    The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender are not insolvent, bankrupt, in liquidation, or under administration or receivership.
    Timeframe for Delivery: The period of the contract will be for 1 year commencing 1 July 2017 with the option of 2 x 1 year extensions.
