The Alliance Group is looking to put in place a Group Drug Testing Provider to support a workforce of approximately 4700 during peak season for all its plants and business units throughout New Zealand. Potentially at some point, this may include testing contractors and visitors.
Alliance Group has recently decided, with the support of its unions, to introduce a group wide random drug testing program to supplement its existing drug testing regime (pre-employment, just cause and post incident). The random testing program will use saliva based testing following a successful trial at our Dannevirke Plant.
We would expect any potential supplier to be able to provide saliva based testing as part of our random programme along with the option of urine based testing for just cause, post incident and pre-employment for all our locations. In addition we would also like the option to access testing for employees who have entered a rehabilitation agreement with the company.

    ABOUT NQPHN:
Northern Queensland Primary Health Network (NQPHN) is an independent not-for-profit primary health organisation, funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health, tasked with coordinating primary health care services for the Mackay, Townsville, Cairns, Cape York Peninsula and Torres Strait regions.
NQPHN will coordinate primary and preventive healthcare that is, the healthcare that takes place outside of a hospital, such as GPs, allied health, chronic disease management, aged care, mental health and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health. Primary health care is recognised as the most effective way to keep communities and individuals healthy and well.
    ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Requests for proposals are sought for the implementation of a Community Based Response to ICE program with the aim of providing support to regional communities in the Mackay region to address the effects of the rising use of ICE particularly within the youth sector.
Specifically, we are seeking proposals that will provide substance users and their support systems better access to detoxification, information, counselling, support and pathways to help them to respond to ICE.
The focus of this intervention is to provide intervention and treatment rather than community education.
As outlined in the National Ice Strategy 2015, immediate priories are to ensure that communities have access to information and resources in order to make the most difference in developing solutions that are right for their local population.
    ENQUIRIES:
After the RFP is open to the public, enquiries are only to be submitted in writing via www.tenderlink.com/nqphn online forum.
Applicants seeking guidance on the eligibility of their project are encouraged to submit an enquiry via Tenderlink. NQPHN recognises that this information may be commercial in confidence and will not publish responses to these enquiries unless the response has broad applicability.
If NQPHN receives a query that it deems will affect the applications of all Applicants, this advice will be posted on our e-Procurement portal www.tenderlink.com/nqphn and notification provided via the mailing list. All Applicants are encouraged to subscribe to our notification email list via www.tenderlink.com/nqphn
