The University is looking for a suitably experienced and resourced organisation to carry out scheduled & reactive maintenance and servicing of its General Building Maintenance requirements. The successful organisation will have a high level of expertise and experience in the General Building Maintenance field. Having recently secured a major national contract we are now seeking expressions of interest for maintenance and handyman services via state-wide sub-contracts.
Each trade will have to conduct their works compliant to the Australian Standard, Australian Building Codes and client WHS practices.
Each trade will be required to have their own method of travel to and from the work sites as well as a fully functioning tool kit pertinent to their trade.
1. Builder/s for relatively simple building works including:
- Anchoring, reinforcing, levelling and rendering besser-brick and block walls;
- Straightening timber fences;
- Rewiring picket and wire fences;
- Replacing panels in aluminium fences;
- Installing and repairing handrails;
- Installing stair nosing;
- Installing and concreting bollards;
- Reinforcing, concreting and asphalting potholes, kerb and guttering;
- Installing and repairing guttering and aluminium roofing panels;
2. Painter/s to prepare, patch and paint to match existing walls, ceilings, windows, doors, awnings and fencing as well as painting WHS and Traffic Management lines across car parks and warehouse loading docks
- Painting works at heights over 2 metres will require the use of an elevated work platform and appropriate certifications;
3. Carpenter/s for simple door, window, frames and fence repairs;
4. Electrician/s for the investigation of existing wiring, the correction and repair, installation and/or disabling of redundant electrical and data wiring;
5. Plumber/s for simple drain, guttering, sewer and storm water repairs;
6. General Handyman for other works of a non-trade specific nature.

The Hills Shire Council is currently seeking appropriately qualified and experienced tenderers for appointment to the Building Trades & Services Prequalification Panel.

SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATION:
The following summary indicates the general nature of the Works for which Delta Electricity desires Tenders to be submitted and is issued to enable Contractors to make an assessment whether Specification documents should be obtained from Delta Electricity for the purpose of submitting a tender response. It does not form part of the Specification and should not be included as part of the Tenderer's offer.
PURPOSE OF WORK:
The works required under this contract is for the supply of civil preventative and remedial service to Vales Point Power Station site for a two (2) year period.
Delta Electricity has an expectation that its Contractors will be undertaking continuous improvement leading to efficiencies that may be reflected in a contract extension. Upon successful Practical Completion of the works within this agreement and a review of the Contractor's performance, a further agreement may be negotiated, at the discretion of Delta Electricity.
LOCATION OF SITE:
The Vales Point Power Station is located on the southern shore of Lake Macquarie, approximately 130 km north of Sydney, New South Wales, and approximately 3 km off the Pacific Highway North of Doyalson.
EXTENT OF WORK:
The extent of the work consists of four (4) elements which include the following:
a) Element 1 Building and Civil Maintenance
Provide qualified staff as required, equipment and resources as per all requirements of the relevant codes, standards and referenced documents listed in this specification and provide all required materials to provide general site Building and Civil preventative and remedial maintenance services at site as directed;
b) Element 2 Fencing Maintenance

INSPECTION OF SITE:

ABOUT BEGA VALLEY SHIRE COUNCIL: Council area extends from Bermagui in the north to the Victorian border in the south and includes the towns of Bega, Tathra, Merimbula, Tura Beach, Wolumla, Cobargo, Bemboka, Pambula, Pambula Beach, Towamba and the former whaling port of Eden. ABOUT THE QUOTATION:
Bega Valley Shire Council (Council) is seeking quotations from suitably qualified and experienced companies to remove the existing steel enclosure and construct a new brick enclosure to house the diesel backup generator at the Merimbula SPS No. 3 site.

A non-mandatory pre-quotation meeting will be held at Lot 2, DP221261. Adjacent to Merimbula boat ramp at the north end of Merimbula Airport commencing Tuesday, 12 September 2017 11:00 AM
Completed responses can be submitted via the electronic tender box (preferred) using the attached returnable forms. Respondents will receive a Successful Submission Receipt timed and dated upon completion.
