BENDIGO HEALTH CARE GROUP. FOR THE SUPPLY, DELIVERY, INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF A VIRTUAL DESKTOP INFRASTRUCTURE SOLUTION TO LODDON MALLEE RURAL HEALTH ALLIANCE. TENDER. Number: BHCG 007-17.
Description: The Loddon Mallee Rural Health Alliance (LMRHA) is one of five Rural Health ICT Alliances within Victoria responsible for the provision of many core ICT services to its members. LMRHA includes 19 organisations made up of acute and community health members that service a geographic area of approximately 25% of the Victorian landmass with a population of around 310,000 covering 58,678 square kilometres and across ten Local Government Authorities.
LMRHA has operated under a Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) established by the Department of Health and Human Services since July 2008. This agreement defines that the regional public health service of the region should take on the role of Lead Agency in the JVA and that the Alliance should utilise the purchasing and procurement policies of the Lead Agency which in LMRHA's case is Bendigo Health Care Group (BHCG). BHCG will manage the tender process and the preparation of any resulting contracts.
This tender is for the procurement and implementation through a successful tenderer of the components that make up a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) platform for designated Health Services in the Loddon Mallee region (excluding BHCG) as well as offering user endpoint VDI devices. It is preferred that the successful tenderer can act as a successful tenderer for all components, including optional components. Where a successful tenderer does not have capabilities in any or some of these optional components, the successful tenderer will be expected to sub-contract these optional components.
The ICT components and systems specified in this document will cover scope for building and deploying to an initial 500 desktop environment that must be scalable to over 2500 desktops by the completion of the rollout to designated Health provider sites. The VDI environment when completed will provide desktops to over 3000 users across north-west Victoria from Kyneton to Mildura and include 15 hospitals (plus sub-branches) and 3 community health providers. The VDI environment will not be required for Bendigo Health Care Group.

WATERNSW / WATERNSW CYBER SECURITY INCIDENT RESPONSE CAPABILITY.
    RFT ID 05072G31.
    Closes: 9th May 2017 at 10:00am.
Tender Details: WaterNSW was created from the merger of the Sydney Catchment Authority, State Water Corporation and DPI Water. WaterNSW now manages a network across a large number of sites spread geographically across NSW. This includes remote monitoring and metering sites that are connected to our network. The legacy organisations, over time, have implemented differing methodologies for the management of cyber security across the networks, with varying levels of maturity of cyber security management strategies and processes. The need to strengthen and make consistent cyber security incident management across WaterNSW was identified as a priority in the recent security audit conducted as part of the ISO27001 certification.
The expected benefit will be a significant improvement in the cyber security management capability within WaterNSW and a consequent reduction in cyber security risk. There will be a single, consistent cyber security management process across the organisation and its systems that will be ISO27001 compliant.

THE DEPARTMENT OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS. SUPPLEMENTARY RFP FOR
    RFx ID: 18482074.
Close Date: Friday, 28 April 2017 at 12:00 PM.
Tender Type: Request for Proposals (RFP).
Overview: The Telecommunications as a Service (TaaS) Programme is an initiative, where the Department of Internal Affairs acts as Lead Agency on behalf of the Government Chief Information Officer, that aims to deliver a range of cross-government telecommunications and managed security services sourced from a range of suppliers appointed to a common capability panel. The TaaS common capability panel is the first to be where the opening is triggered by a requirement or opportunity rather than a scheduled process. The outcome of the RFP may lead to the appointment of new suppliers to the TaaS Common Capability Panel and / or additions to the range of services currently available.
Existing TaaS panel members will not need to re-tender for the services they have been approved to provide. However, should existing TaaS panel members want to extend their service capability for services that they are currently not approved for, then they can submit a response to the RFP for those new services only so that these can be evaluated.
This RFP will interest you if you provide services, in the following areas:
    - Connectivity Services (such as cabling, LAN, wireless, WAN, data centre connectivity and interconnectivity, internet and PSTN access).
    - Communications services (including calling, voice, smart phone and tablet provisioning, mobile handset hardware and mobile device management), PSTN calling services, Telecommunications application services (e.g. VOIP, UC, audio conferencing, and video conferencing and meeting room services)
    - Contact Centre Services (such as PSTN and enterprise voice integration, call handling, and interactive voice response, and voice biometrics).
    - Managed Security Services including those associated with the consumption of telecommunication services, and Cloud Access Secure Broker services (CASB)
    - Aggregation Services (such as service management and aggregation)
Closing date for the RFP is 12:00 noon, 5 May 2017.
