    The Offshore Fisheries Adviser will support and assist MIMRA to build capacity, improve systems, and help with institutional strengthening for sustainable fisheries management. This assignment is intended to support MIMRA's priorities to improve livelihoods, food security and economic benefits from the sustainable fisheries and management of offshore fisheries.     The responsibilities for this Adviser will include (among other things):
    · Provide technical and mentoring support for the roll out of RMI's Tuna Management and Development Plan.
    · Provide technical support for the roll out of the PNA Longline Vessel Days Scheme (VDS) and facilitate the transition to a system of VDS tendering.
    · Facilitate the roll out of the Fisheries Integrated Management System and E-monitoring.
    · Provide technical input to the implementation of the NPOA-IUU, prepare a support inspection plan and assist in responding to issues raised by the European Union (EU).
    · Provide advice to MIMRA officials attending bilateral meetings.
    · Provide economic intelligence to the MIMRA team.
    · Assess the requirements of MIMRA to implement effective Port State Measures and traceability systems and assist MIMRA to identify areas where specialist assistance is required.

    COFFEY. KIRIBATI EDUCATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM PHASE III.
    REQUEST FOR TENDER - SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF BUILDING MATERIALS TO KIRIBATI (2017-18).
    This program is managed by Coffey, a Tetra Tech company, on behalf of the Australian Government.
    Coffey International Development is the Managing Contractor for the Kiribati Education Improvement Program (KEIP), under Contract to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). The KEIP works closely with the Ministry of Education (MoE) and is the framework within which the major donors to the basic education sector are supporting the Government of Kiribati (GoK) to address goals set out in the Education Sector Strategic Plan (ESSP) 2012 -2015. Under the KEIP, a number of primary schools are being progressively upgraded, to provide a better learning environment and meet the National Infrastructure Standards (NIS).
    KEIP is now seeking Tender submissions from suitably qualified organisations experienced in the supply and delivery of building materials, tools and equipment to be used for the upgrading of four primary schools in Kiribati, through a Period Contract (from January 2017 to December 2018).
    A broad range of quality building materials are required including (but not limited to) fencing products, cement, steel reinforcing, timber products, steel roofing and accessories, plumbing and electrical products, door and window hardware, anchors and fixings, paint products, etc. Goods will have the durability to withstand heavy wear and the extreme marine environment. Itemised prices will be fixed for the 2017- 8 calendar years. The successful Supplier will be required to supply and deliver goods throughout this period to South Tarawa, housed in secure shipping containers via regular scheduled shipping.
    Suppliers with the necessary procurement and logistical experience in the Region are now invited to tender for the Period Contract for the Supply & Delivery of Building Materials to Kiribati (2017-18).
