Overview: The Canterbury DHB is seeking an appropriately experienced construction contractor to relocate and refurbish the single storey section of the Hagley Outpatients building from the Christchurch Hospital Campus to the Rangiora Health Hub. The building is timber framed on bearers and piles with a wooden floor, colour steel roof and measures 40 x 16 metres making the floor area 640m2. It has been designed to be separated into five sections measuring 8 x 16 metres with double stud walls at the break points.
Once relocated to Rangiora it will be sited next to the recently built Health Hub on pile foundations that are part of this stage of the project. Then a moderate amount of refurbishment is required to rearrange the rooms within the building to suit the new requirements. There will be an amount of services work to both prepare the building for relocation and then to reassemble it along with associated site works.
The project may also include the demolition of the two storey section of the Hagley Outpatients building at the Christchurch Hospital Campus including clearing the site of the associated foundations of both the two and single storey sections of the buildings.

Tender Overview: Ports North is responsible for the development, management and maintenance of port facilities vital to the development of Cairns and regional centres in Far North Queensland. The Corporation has extensive property, marina, tourism and cargo facilities in Cairns and its regional ports.
The Smith Creek No. 2 Wharf structure consists of a 200m2 reinforced concrete deck supported by 18 steel piles. The wharf is unserviceable and Ports North require this structure to be demolished. This contract includes demolition, removal and disposal of the wharf structure.
