Handyman Services (the Services) comprise minor maintenance and repair services such as painting, minor carpentry related tasks, furniture removal, residential property condition reports - pre- and post- occupancy and ad hoc services that:

(b) are not "high risk construction work" as defined under Regulation 291 of the WHS Regulations;
(c) can be performed by one or two individuals;
(d) can address different areas within a site as required; and
(e) do not require any specialist trade skills in any particular area or field but requires generalist knowledge of minor maintenance and repairs with commercial buildings (office or industrial) and residential properties.

Tender Details: The objectives of this project are to:· Provide personnel access via stairs to the southern spillway below the sector gate, further minimising the need to utilise the man-box suspended on the cableway. New stairs and landings, incorporating a retractable lower stair section electrical hoist operated will provide personnel access onto the lower section of the southern spillway.
· Eliminate strain and exertion hazards associated with the current chain block hoisting mechanisms for retractable stairs and ladders on the northern and southern spillways. The existing manual chain block for the retractable section of the northern spillway access will be replaced with an electric chain hoist. The existing manual chain block for raising and lowering the access ladder to the southern spillway upstream of the sector gate will be replaced with an electric chain hoist. The southern spillway access ladder landing platforms will be aligned to remove a trip hazard.
