SHIRE OF MANJIMUP. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST - SECOND HAND PAVERS. The Shire of Manjimup is seeking expressions of interest from parties or individuals seeking to acquire second hand pavers that have been lifted from the Manjimup CBD.
As part of the Town Centre Revitalisation Project, contractors on behalf of the Shire have reclaimed the original paving bricks that were located in Mount and Brockman Streets. A range of paving styles are available, including:
a) Standard size red cement, cream cement and cream clay bricks;
b) Brown split pavers, previously used to pave the majority of the CBD;
c) A relatively small amount of red split pavers; and
d) Cement slabs.
Whilst the expression of interest is open to all parties, preference will be given to Community Groups and Not for Profit organisations. These parties will not be required to pay the Shire any compensation for the pavers.
Any bricks not requested by Community Groups / Not for Profit organisations will then be available for members of the wider public on a 'best price basis'.
All submissions should clearly nominate the style of pavers being sought and the area being requested. Expressions of interest from members of the public are also expected to nominate the price the person(s) are willing to pay.
Note: all successful parties will be required to meet the costs of transporting the pavers from the Manjimup Timber and Heritage Park and return the paving pallets to the Shire. The Shire will not meet any of the costs of delivery or laying / installing of the pavers.
