Council is seeking registrations of interest from suitably experienced and motivated individuals or businesses to run a coffee cart in the Aquatic Centre and/or the Library; two coffee carts are required. Applicants may register their interest for both carts or express interest in one or the other.
The Rotorua Visitor Centre is currently undertaking a refurbishment programme to improve our customer experience and ability to promote Rotorua to the 850,000 visitors that currently use the building. The visitor Centre is part of the official i-Site network and is also a transport hub with over 50 national Coach departures and arrivals per day. We also have over 60 shuttles using our facility to drop off and pick up passengers.
The refurbishment will provide Rotorua with an outstanding visitor experience and a highly visible building that will become a hub for travellers as well as a place for locals to bring their visitors.
Part of the customer offering will require a cafe to be located in the southern end of the building. The space will be accessible both directly from the front of the building as well as internally. The space is approximately 400 m2 and the fit-out will be the responsibility of the successful applicant.
The cafe will have an area at the southern end which will allow outdoor tables and have access into Jean Batton Square. This green space is currently being redeveloped in conjunction with the neighbouring i-Site and Library Child Health Hub refurbishments.
The opening hours of the Visitor Centre are 7.30 am - 7.00 pm, 7 days per week (closed Christmas Day). The cafe will be required to operate during these hours as a minimum and can open later as the Visitor Centre will be able to be closed off from the cafe area.
SOUTHERN CROSS HOSPITAL ROTORUA. CATERING SERVICES ROTORUA HOSPITAL.
Southern Cross Hospital Rotorua is seeking expressions of interest from interested, experienced and reputable contractors for the Catering Services at its Rotorua Hospital. This Contract covers the provisions of Catering services for Patients, Doctors, Staff and Groups. The "Expression of Interest" (EOI) is not an "Invitation to Tender". At this stage, prospective contractors are not required to submit prices. Southern Cross Hospitals shall shortlist the submissions received and subsequently invite selected Contractors to price the works based on further documentation.

Request for Proposals (RFP)
Overview: Scion requires a Cafe and Catering Contractor to service the Rotorua site cafeteria and provide onsite catering for business meetings and other business functions between the hours of 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday.
The service is to consist of cooking, serving an agreed menu, delivering food, replenishing the staff beverage area while maintaining a clean and tidy cafeteria in line with the minimum levels of food safety and occupational safety of the workplace.
The Scion cafeteria has a fully equipped kitchen and dining area which is visited by staff and campus tenants throughout the day, and particularly busy for lunch service and morning/afternoon tea breaks.
Both Scion tenants and Scion staff have a number of business meetings throughout the week that require on site catering for either morning or afternoon tea or lunches. These business meetings are held in either designated meeting rooms or in the cafeteria dining area.
Some conferences held on site may also require either day or evening catering. Evening catering is optional.
