The council is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) for occupation of the kiosk building at Maclean Park, Paraparaumu Beach.
The invitation is open to all parties, including community groups, businesses and individuals.
The council is particularly interested in hearing from organisations that will provide some community benefit through the use of the kiosk.
Because the building is located on a recreation reserve only certain activities are permitted.
The closing date for expressions of interest is 3pm, Wednesday 1st July 2015 late submissions won't be accepted and occupation is expected to begin around 1st October 2015.
A selection team made up of Paraparaumu / Raumati Community Board members and other suitable members of the public will look at the applications and decide who they think is best to move into the kiosk.
A panel will assess the EOIs received, against pre-determined and weighted assessment criteria.
The building is offered in its existing condition and no improvements will be made to the building. Therefore, interested groups need to ensure that the kiosk suits their needs before making an application.

WAIRARAPA SERVICES & CITIZENS CLUB (INC). CATERING SERVICES.
The Wairarapa Services & Citizens Club is seeking expressions of interest from operators interested in submitting a business proposal for a tender process to provide a catering service. Consideration would also be given to proposals to oversee the catering service on behalf of the Club.
The current contract is nearing an end and in keeping with Club rules, we are opening the contract for tender.
Primarily catering for members and their guests, the Club also hosts events, including functions. The restaurant is open for a minimum of lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Saturday.
The successful tenderer will have prior experience of providing a modern and comprehensive service and be able to comply with health and safety and food safety regulations. The Club requires a variety of reasonably-priced, nutritious meals for our members and guests.

The South Wairarapa Workingmen's Club located on Main Street Greytown is one of New Zealand's oldest club's with a Queens Charter serving a diverse membership from throughout the Wairarapa. After many years of service our current catering contractor has decided to end his contract effective 31 March 2015. The commercial kitchen has recently undergone a significant upgrade within the last 12 months. Currently snack and casual meals are provided on Wednesday and Friday nights and the restaurant is open for a variety of meals on Saturday and Sunday nights. There is an opportunity to expand on the days that catering services are currently provided. Greytown's service clubs use the club's facilities including the caterer for meals on Tuesday and Wednesday nights on a weekly basis.
