GREATER WELLINGTON REGIONAL COUNCIL. WELLINGTON RAIL STATION CUSTOMER INFORMATION SYSTEMS REPLACEMENT.
    RFx ID: 18554080.
    Reference: PTO581.
Close Date: Friday 19 May 2017 at 4.00 pm.
    Registration of Interest (ROI).
Overview: Trains are a vital part of Wellington's public transport network. More than 11,000 commuters take the train into and out of Wellington each day of the working week. Without rail services, congestion on the region's roads would reduce the quality of life, produce poorer environmental outcomes and weaken the economy.
Greater Wellington Regional Council (GWRC) regularly monitors services and carries out service reviews to better meet passengers' needs and to ensure ratepayers are getting value for money. Research shows that high quality customer information systems are a key driver to overall public satisfaction with public transport services; especially at times when there are disruptions to the network. The services are marketed under the Metlink brand name.
Transdev Wellington is the operator of Wellington's Metlink rail network. It is a partnership of Transdev Australasia and Hyundai Rotem. Greater Wellington Regional Council awarded the contract to operate and maintain the network in December 2015, commencing 3 July 2016.
The current Customer Information System at Wellington Rail Station no longer meets business, customer or user requirements. GWRC and Transdev have recognised a need to improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery of travel information to customers using the Wellington Rail Station.

CAPITAL & COAST DISTRICT HEALTH BOARD. ADVANCE NOTICE - DATA VISUALISATION BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE (BI) SOFTWARE.
    RFx ID: 18488151.
Close Date: Friday 28 April 2017 at 4.00 pm.
    Notice of Information (NOI).
Overview: Capital & Coast District Health Board (CCDHB) intends to procure data visualisation business intelligence (BI) software before December 2017.
A RFI was sought in February. There were 19 responses to the RFI. The DHB thanks all respondents for supporting the indicative business case.
In March our ELT has endorsed an indicative business case for using new data visualisation BI software and authorised a competitive tender process to be undertaken. The outcome of this process will be a detailed business case supporting a preferred provider. There is no guarantee that the detailed business case will be accepted.
    Likely two-stage process:
The high level of interest may mean that a two stage process will be undertaken: registration of interest (ROI) and short-listing, followed by request for proposal. The exact nature of the process will be determined before the end of March and will be clear when the proposal process is listed on GETS.
    Indicative timeline:
We expect to issue the ROI in April. Given the Easter and the school holidays at the start of the month, it may be closer to the end of April.
    Videos:
We are exploring the option of requesting that the bulk of the ROI submission is by video rather than 'paper'. We would still accept 'paper' submissions but feel that the nature of the software product lends itself better to video. We would detail our expectations about the structure and content of any such video and we may choose to provide anonymised data to assist you to tailor the video to our situation. There would be some requirements that could not easily be shown in video and those would require a 'paper-based' submission. Please send in any concerns you would have about this kind of process by Monday 27 March 2017 at 9.00 am.
Communications prior to the issuing of the ROI:
The DHB does not wish to receive product presentations prior to the issuing of the ROI. However, if vendors wish to speak to someone prior to the issue date, they may contact us.
During the RFI process, vendors asked a number of questions that related to the DHB's detailed requirements and many were technical. As we develop those requirements over the coming fortnight, we would appreciate it if you could please email with any questions you feel need answering as part of the ROI documentation.
Please have those questions to us by Monday 27 March 2017 at 9.00 am.

    TERTIARY EDUCATION COMMISSION. JOB SCHEDULING.
    RFx ID: 18407742.
Close Date: Monday, 27 March 2017 at 5:00 PM.
Tender Type : Request for Proposals (RFP).
Overview: We currently use several applications and manual solutions to manage the funding we allocate to over 700 tertiary education organisations (TEOs). These solutions are fragmented and complex, making it difficult and time consuming to manage funding information. In particular, we use a large number of complex spreadsheets to support our funding processes.
To mitigate the risks that our current solution creates, we have initiated the Funds Management and Payments (FMP) project to:
    1. Implement an integrated solution that provides better financial control, transparency and efficiency across our funding information and processes
    2. Make our financial management system (TechnologyOne) the master information source for appropriations and TEO funding allocations
    3. Introduce new capability to manage funding rules and detailed delivery calculations in a single application
    4. Provide readily available reporting on the allocation of funding
    5. Provide workflow support for payment approval processes
    6. Reduce the complexity of and the amount of data held in our Data Warehouse
    7. Establish efficiencies through the scheduling of our interfaces
    8. Establish an end to end business owner resulting in better control of process and system changes
This is a substantial project introducing new applications and interfaces. It requires changes to our data warehouse, financial management system, reporting, master data management and business processes.
A key component of our future design is a Job Scheduling application to automate our background processes. We require the application to manage the interfaces required to support FMP. In the longer term, we will look to extend scheduling across our other applications.
This RFP is for the procurement of the Job Scheduling application. In addition, we require the successful Respondent to work with our staff during the design and delivery phases to:
    1. Provide training for members of the project team
    2. Provide advice on how to integrate the Job Scheduling application into the design of our interfaces
    3. Design of the job scheduling
    4. Help with the infrastructure design (as part of our wider FMP infrastructure design)
    5. Plan for the delivery phase
We also require ongoing third level support.

GREATER WELLINGTON REGIONAL COUNCIL. IMPROVING THE PAYABLES INVOICE PROCESS AT GREATER WELLINGTON REGIONAL COUNCIL.
    RFx ID: 18283790.
Close Date: Tuesday 31 January 2017 at 5.00 pm.
    Registration of Interest (ROI).
Overview: Greater Wellington regional Council interacts with 7,500 vendors, processes about 11,500 purchase orders and 22,000 incoming invoices a year. 95% of our invoices have or should have PO reference, the remaining 5% are non-PO invoices.
We intend to introduce industry best practice by facilitating increased electronic interaction between GW and its suppliers where ever possible. We seek information about systems and/or services that will enable the minimisation of manual processes associated with all steps of our Payables Invoice Process.
GW is currently in the phase of refreshing its core ERP system and evaluating opportunities to improve the Payables Invoice process. We wish to move away from the traditional paper and people-based invoice processing (and the associated high costs, low visibility, long processing times) and move towards automated invoice processing, and scanning with minimal human intervention.
As part of this process, GW invites the market to provide information on capabilities and solutions available in this area.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AUTHORITY. FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (FMIS) IMPLEMENTATION PARTNER.
    RFx ID: 18258449.
    Reference: 1634.
Close Date: Friday 20 January 2017 at 4.00 pm.
    Request for Proposals (RFP).
Overview: With the EPA's most recent Four Year Plan establishing its future direction, the EPA is looking at up-grading its systems to better meet current and future requirements.
One of these systems identified as requiring replacement to better support the EPA's future direction is the Financial Management Information System (FMIS).
The recent All of Government's (AOG) software market place initiative presents the ideal environment for the EPA's selection of a suitable FMIS without the traditional detail requirements, Request for Proposal (RFP) and evaluation process. As a result the EPA has begun evaluation of the Oracle Cloud FMIS Solution (Oracle Cloud solution) as a possible replacement product.
This document is a request for an Implementation Partner based on the use of the Oracle Cloud solution.
If the case for the Oracle Cloud solution is established in the evaluation, a final proposal will be presented to EPA senior management, combining the selection of the Oracle Cloud solution with the implementation services of the successful respondent to this RFP (Implementation Partner).
