General Information: WCDHB is the District Health Board that serves the health needs of the West Coast of the South Island. It currently has three hospital sites in Greymouth, Westport and Reefton. It also has a health clinic in Hokitika and many smaller satellite based clinics up and down the Coast. WCDHB services an area from Karamea in the north to Haast in the south. WCDHB has a wide area network spanning Karamea to Fox Glacier, including all major town centres on the West Coast. WCDHB has 55 physical servers, of which 41 are physical servers and 14 virtual servers using VMware Infrastructure edition on a single physical server, using local disk as storage. The servers are split between two server rooms, a primary and a backup (most being in the primary room), with a 4 Gig fibre backbone running between them. The purpose of this Request for Proposal ("RFP") is to invite external companies to submit their proposals to WCDHB with information on their skills, services and experience in providing Virtual Machine Infrastructure services and products. The information is requested so that WCDHB can:· Identify organisations interested in and capable of delivering these products / services; and
· Identify different methods of providing such products / services and a preferred solution / product.
Following the evaluation of the RFP responses, WCDHB may:

We are looking for a pre packaged software application / client for Maori language only dictionary that will initially be run on the web but which also needs to be versatile to be run from CD at a later date. Compatibility with dual operating systems mainly Windows 95 and higher and NT 3 and higher is desirable. Macintosh compatibility is also desired. As is compatibility with the leading browsers highly desired. The dictionary will be a free resource to the public on the web. But will be sold on CD-Rom as a later date. The software needs to have proven experience in the computer industry. The software needs to be UTF 8 compliant or be in the process of becoming compliant. 2001 SCHOOL TRANSPORT ADMINISTRATION. REQUEST FOR REGISTRATION OF INTEREST. The Ministry of Education is seeking REGISTRATION OF INTEREST for the management and administration of school transport arrangements throughout the country. The services cover: * management of relationships with all the parties (including parents, schools and school bus contractors) involved in school transport activities, * active encouragement and support for school transport providers to ensure that all services are operated safely and in accordance with statutory requirements at all times, * management of school transport contracts between the Ministry and service providers, * processing of applications from caregivers for school transport assistance, * monitoring and reporting on school transport activities, * operation of appropriate business systems which underpin all activities and which provide necessary information and assurance on all activities that are being managed. * It is expected that up to three contracts will be let to cover the following regions: * upper half of the North Island, * lower half of the North Island, * the South Island. Organisations or individuals wishing to register their interest with the Ministry must supply evidence that they have the experience and expertise necessary to deliver the service, and must indicate which of the above three regions they wish to cover.
