    We wish to select one Lead Provider who will manage the single coordination service, provide the majority of podiatry services and ensure consistent best practice is applied.
    Providers may elect to be a 'service deliverer' only. The arrangement between the service deliverer will be negotiated between the Lead Provider, service deliverer and Hawke's Bay District Health Board. Service delivers are required only to 'Register an Interest' in delivering the service at this time.

    Overview: ACC works to reduce the overall incidence and impact of injury in New Zealand, through delivery of injury prevention, rehabilitation and compensation services. From 16 June 2015, ACC will be opening the Occupational Assessment Services Contract to new applicants to meet service gaps in the Hawkes Bay Region. These services include Initial Occupational Assessment (IOA) and Vocational Initial Occupational Assessment (VIOA). At this stage, ACC is not considering applicants for other regions; however any future service gaps or opportunities will be notified through the GETS site.
    To be a supplier under the ACC Occupational Assessment Services contract(s), your organisation or practitioners will need to meet NZS 8134:2008 Health and Disability Sector Standards. Evidence of a tertiary qualification relevant to vocational rehabilitation and a current full membership of a relevant professional association (e.g. NZAOT, CDANZ etc) will also need to be provided to ACC at the time of submitting your completed Application Response form. Please note: Existing holders of the Occupational Assessment Services contracts do not need to apply as current contract arrangements will stand.
