These wells represent an unknown risk to health and safety, and the environment.
MBIE is looking for a suitably qualified technical service provider to assist in determining and describing the technical integrity of these wells, and provide a methodology that ranks the risk these wells pose, which will be used to prioritise any activities to address this risk.

Tenders are called for from suitably experienced resealing contractors to carry out the resurfacing of either or both the Eastern and Western Areas of Southland District Council's urban and rural resealing programme. There is approximately 1,500,000 m2 of resurfacing in each of the contract areas over the three year period.
Work will involve single and two coat chip seals, with a small amount of texturising. The Contractor is to supply all materials including sealing chips and is to carry out the initial remarking of the completed road sections.

Description: Maranoa Regional Council (Council) is seeking a suitably qualified, and experienced Contractor to provide mobile crushing services for the production of gravel pavement material at a regional pit located within the Maranoa Region.
Council has identified a suitable gravel pit, Wells Pit, which is situated to the north east of Wallumbilla (40km east of Roma) off of Swan's Road to supply the gravel for two upcoming road projects. Figure 1 below indicates the location of the quarry site.
The site comprises of a medium to hard white sandstone (white rock) that can generally be extracted with a D10 Dozer or equivalent. The site has been operated over a number of years by Council on a campaign basis to service surrounding road projects.

Minor Landscaping Projects-Works
Three (3) Year Contract-Framework Agreement
The City of Cockburn (the Principal) is seeking suitably qualified and experienced Landscape Construction Contractors to form a Panel of Pre-Qualified Suppliers to undertake minor landscape construction projects-works throughout the City of Cockburn area.
A Minor Landscape Construction Project's Scope of Works may include; but are not limited to:
(c) Removal and disposal of Asphalt, Compacted Road Base and Limestone Sub-base, non-reinforced and reinforced Concrete Paths; and Building Pads;
(d) Rotary Soil Cultivation;
(e) Soil Conditioning;
(f) Removal and disposal of Green Waste;
(g) Sand (Supply and Delivery (Clean Fill, Top Dressing, White Washed and Paving-Brick Sand);
(h) Limestone Works (Minor Block Work (single course) no greater than 350mm in height. Building permit and engineer certification is required for work above 500mm in height (Refer to Specification Clause 2.12.2);
(i) Planting, Staking, Fertilising and Mulching;
(j) Temporary Safety Fencing; and
(k) Security Services (Static Guard (On-Site Patrols).
The Contractors will be required to provide all labour, plant and equipment, materials, chemicals, transport-cartage, supervision/administrative costs, surveying, travelling expenses etc. and anything else necessary to carry out the services required under any subsequent contract.
The proposed Contract-Framework Agreement will be for an initial period of three (3) years from the date of commencement of the Agreement. There are Principal instigated options to extend the Agreement period by an additional one (1) year period and for up to twelve (12) months after that to a maximum of five (5) years.

Pre-Qualified Supplier Panel (Landscape Construction Services)
It is the Principal's expectation that the number of members that constitute this Landscape Construction Services Panel of Pre-qualified Suppliers may range from a minimum of three (3) up to a maximum of five (5) suppliers.
A secondary selection process will be undertaken by the Principal to assign contracts to members of the Panel of Pre-Qualified Suppliers (Landscape Construction Services). Such contracts will be for one-off projects-works for a duration; no greater than one (1) year in accordance with the requirements of Part 4 (Division 3) of the Local Government (Functions and General) Regulations 1995.
Respondents are advised to read Section 76 (Operation of Pre-Qualified Supplier Panel) of the General Conditions of Contract and seek further information or clarification in accordance with Clause 1.5.1
DEFINITION (MINOR WORKS)
Minor works refers to relatively straight-forward construction works which are new or add to or change (renew, extend or upgrade) an existing infrastructure or other asset. Typically works are for less than twelve (12) months duration with a total project value less than $325,000 GST Exclusive.
