    Description: The National Measurement Institute (NMI) requires a fully operational Carbon Analyser system for routine analysis of carbon in soil and sediment samples. The successful tenderer must include delivery, full installation, commissioning and provide training for a minimum of 4 analysts over a 2 day period. The system must be capable of operating on a standard 240V, 10 or 15 Amp power supply.
    The purpose of this instrument is for routine analysis of soil and sediment samples for total organic carbon (TOC), total inorganic carbon (TIC) and total carbon (TC). As such, the instrument must be robust, highly sensitive, have a high throughput and be fully automated.
    The system should be cost effective, reliable and provide excellent performance. The system is to consist of:
    (a) An automated carbon analyser;
    (b) A computer, monitor, printer and all accessories necessary to operate the carbon analyser; and
    (c) Software
    The instrument will be located at the NMI laboratories in North Ryde, NSW. The instrument should be delivered no later than 10 weeks after execution of the contract with the successful tenderer.
    Conditions for Participation: The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender must not be named as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth).
    The tenderer confirms that in dealing with its employees and independent contractors, the tenderer has due regard to Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, comply with Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, including the obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth) and relevant work health and safety laws.

    Overview: The MPI Plant Health and Environment Laboratory (PHEL) is looking to procure a turnkey solution for the provision of a Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) suitable for viewing plant viruses in raw sap extractions, with all associated hardware and software, including a imaging system for capturing images to be saved. Preferably the instrument will be readily compatible with the existing water chiller and nitrogen gas delivery systems. Delivery, installation account management, support and training are required plus removal and disposal of the old TEM microscope. A warranty is also required.

    Description: The successful Tenderer will be required to supply, deliver, install and integrate a Liquid Chromatography system with Mass Spectrometry Detector including associated software, training, documentation, maintenance services and associated Services (LC/MS) to build on existing capability within the TGA. The LC/MS equipment will be used for predominantly chemical (small molecule) analysis.
    The LC/MS system will be used principally for identification of compounds including elucidating the structure of unknowns from both herbal and pharmaceutical materials, detection of trace level compounds in complex matrices and quantitative analysis of low level compounds.
    Other Instructions: Shortlisted tenderers will be invited to provide a product presentation of the LC/MS Equipment and software proposed within their shortlisted submission to nominated members of the evaluation team. The product presentations should take place on-site at TGA (136 Narrabundah Lane Symonston ACT).
    The successful tenderer must deliver, install and integrate (if necessary) the Equipment and Software as well as provide onsite training for at least four TGA staff as part of the installation process.
