Description: The Property and Commercial Services Branch (PCSB) of DIBP is responsible for maintaining a variety of commercial premises and residential housing in both metropolitan and regional Australia. It is DIBP's intention to establish a panel of several Service Providers in regions around Australia for the provision of Handyman Services to these sites.
Handyman Services (the Services) comprise minor maintenance and repair services such as painting, minor carpentry related tasks, furniture removal, residential property condition reports - pre- and post- occupancy and ad hoc services that:
(a) are not large in scale or nature;
(b) are not "high risk construction work" as defined under Regulation 291 of the WHS Regulations;
(c) can be performed by one or two individuals;
(d) can address different areas within a site as required; and
(e) do not require any specialist trade skills in any particular area or field but requires generalist knowledge of minor maintenance and repairs with commercial buildings (office or industrial) and residential properties.
Other Instructions: The Department/JLL will be conducting industry briefings via phone or video conference.
Conditions for Participation: Tenderers must meet the following Conditions of Participation in order to participate in the tender process:
(a) the Tenderer must not be named by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency as an employer currently not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth), unless the Tenderer has obtained a letter of compliance from the Workplace Gender Equality Agency and attaches this letter to its Tender or provides this letter to the Department separately prior to Closing Time;
(b) the Tenderer and its proposed Subcontractors are not listed as terrorists under section 15 of the Charter of the United Nations Act 1945 (Cth);

Tauranga City Council invites proposals for this contract for which the services comprise General Building and Facility Maintenance Services, HVAC, Fire Compliance and Fire Systems maintenance and Marine Structure Maintenance Services. The work will involve both Planned and Reactive Maintenance.

Port Stephens Council is calling for Expressions of Interest for the purchase and development of separate commercial and residential sites in the heart of Raymond Terrace, suited to a range of development opportunities according to Council's Land Acquisition & Development Manager, Sean Fox.
Mr Fox said a B3 Commercial Core site of some 11,167sqm bounded by William, Adelaide and Sturgeon Streets, has holding income of $347,000/year from a range of buildings, while an R2 Low Density Residential site of some 2,021sqm on the corner of Port Stephens and Glenelg Streets is currently in use as a car park.
One of Council's objectives from the EOI is future development outcomes that produce permanent economic activity in the town centre precinct such as residential accommodation. Council will consider outright sale, ground lease or a joint venture arrangement for these two sites.

The Victorian Department of Health and Human Services is seeking expressions of interest from the social housing sector and private developers to participate in potential joint venture property development. The Victorian Government's Social Housing Pipeline program seeks to establish an innovative partnership approach to enable the delivery of affordable, mixed tenure housing on vacant state-owned land across Melbourne and regional Victoria. The DHHS will leverage vacant land owned by the Director of Housing to enable new social housing to be developed by the private and not-for-profit sectors, alongside the development and sale of private dwellings. The three-year program will start with a pilot scheme on 52 vacant sites extending from Melbourne's western suburbs to Geelong.
