Shoalhaven City Council (Council) invites quotations for the design supply and construction of a playground at The Wool Lane Sportsfield, Corner Cammaray Drive & Hewitt Avenue, St Georges Basin and Abood Oval, The Concourse, Cambewarra, NSW in accordance with this Request for Quotation (RFQ).
The playground shall be accessible for all age groups and include a minimum of three key play elements including climbing, sliding and swinging. Bidders must submit quotations in the manner required by this request for Bidder.

Overview: A new playground is to be constructed at the Omokoroa Sportsground Reserve and a comprehensive review, upgrade/renewal of the "destination" playground at Omokoroa Domain is required.
To assist the delivery of these, Western Bay of Plenty District Council (WBOPDC) is seeking professional services proposals from appropriately qualified and experienced playground industry professionals to assist the Omokoroa Community Playground Project Group (OCPPG). Council is also a member of this group and is the project sponsor.
The evaluation panel will consist of Council staff and members from the Omokoroa Community Playground Project Group (OCPPG). The evaluation process will be based on the information supplied from the submitter and any referee information gathered.
Communication with any of the tenderers may also be initiated to help identify the preferred proposal.

These works will be awarded under three separate contracts as follows:
i) Hard Works - Demolition, tree protection, bulk earthworks (including establishment of levels to allow placement of various materials to finished levels), pavements, paths, all surface finishes other than mulch, sand, rubber and planting preparation, walls, fencing, furniture, hydraulic works, soak well, rock boulders, structures and maintenance and defects liability responsibility for the hard works.
ii) Soft Works - Fine grading, soil preparation, planting, grassing and mulching and maintenance and defects liability responsibility for the soft works.
iii) Play Works - Supply and install off-the-shelf and bespoke play elements and sand, mulch and rubber soft fall material (including rubber base course and subgrade preparation), related works and maintenance and defects liability responsibility for the play works.
Additionally, the irrigation works (including conduit pre-lays) will be carried out by the Town of Victoria Park. The custom play/art piece known as "The Kraken" will be supplied and installed (including footings) by an artist.

The work comprises the provision of all resources and materials required to construct a new splash Park at Tomaree Aquatic Centre, Nelson Bay. The construction site is located adjacent to the existing program pool as per the provided Tender Drawings.
The successful tenderer will be required to register on Councils Contractor Insurance Management System and WHS Sitepass System. In addition, the contractor will be required to prepare a Construction Environmental Management Plan prior to commencing work.
The work includes the supply of all labour and materials required to complete construction noting the following:-· Splash pad, features, balance tanks and all associated infrastructure as per provided tender specifications and drawings
· Connection to onsite Hydraulic and Electrical services as required
· Reinstatement of all damaged and removed concrete pathways
· Reinstalment of all damaged grass surfaces
· Reinstatement of all associated and damaged concrete paving
· Temporary fencing
· All work shall be carried out in compliance with Port Stephens Council's WH&S policies
Submission needs to include a 10 year lifecycle plan for all components of the Splash Park and associated infrastructure.
The Aquatic Centre will be open during the construction period and provisions will be required to secure the construction area and to maintain access to the onsite facilities. These matters will be discussed and communicated during the mandatory Pre-tender site meeting at 10:30 on the 5 July 2017.
The site is located at 10 Aquatic Close, Nelson Bay at lot 529 DP 822120. This site is approximately 60 kilometres north of Newcastle.
