NSW STATE EMERGENCY SERVICE. DIGITAL HF DESIGN & INSTALLATION SERVICES - RFT ID NSWSES000047.
    Closes 20 February 2017 at 12:00am.
Contact Person: Contact Officer - Logistics Branch.
    Phone: 02 4251 6111. Email: logistics@ses.nsw.gov.au
Tender Details: Requirements Overview - Digital HF Design & Installation
    Introduction:
The NSW SES has purchased Codan Envoy digital HF transceivers that it now seeks deploy into service. The transceivers will operate in the Far West Region (FWR) of New South Wales. The required coverage area is depicted by the highlighted area on the map shown in Appendix 1.
Respondents are requested to provide quotations to deliver services and equipment in the following four categories:· Category A: Network Design Services
    · Category B: Unit & Region Headquarters installations· Category C: Vehicle installations and integration with UHF radios
    · Category D: Miscellaneous
The successful vendor is expected to supply a complete solution from network design through to commissioning.
    · Category A - Network Design Services:
The SES is seeking vendors to develop a high level design concept for the Far West Region Digital HF network based on preferential use and deployment of existing Codan transceivers.
    · Category B - Unit & Region Headquarters installations
The SES has 13 Region and Unit HQ buildings located within the coverage area. These are listed in Appendix 3. Staff working from these buildings need to be able to communicate with other users within the coverage area. The SES is seeking to have radios, antennas and associated systems installed at these locations.· Category C - Vehicle Installs
The SES has 27 vehicles permanently located within the coverage area. Members working from these vehicles need to be able to communicate with other users within the coverage area. Some installation work has commenced on these vehicles. The SES is seeking a vendor to install and commission equipment in the remaining vehicles and to upgrade and perform remedial works on existing installations if required.
    · UHF Radio Interfacing:
All SES vehicles are fitted with a Motorola XTL5000 radio. This radio provides access to a range of trunked and conventional radio channels used by SES and other emergency services. The Codan Envoy radios should be interfaced to these vehicle radios using a cross patch mechanism. The cross patch mechanism will allow audio received on the DHF radio to be retransmitted via the UHF radio and vice-versa.
    Notes:
    · Cross patch systems have not been purchased or installed in any vehicle to date
    · SES is currently undergoing a radio terminal replacement program. The current generation of Motorola XTL5000 radios will be replaced in all vehicles over the next 18 months. The replacement radio is yet to be identified. The integration system should therefore support a wide range of commercial UHF radio types and in particular the radios available under NSW Government Panel Contract ITS2573
    · The installation must not diminish a vehicles compliance with applicable Australian Design Rules
    · Category D - Miscellaneous
    Dispatch Console Integration
The SES operates a Harris Symphony dispatch console system. The console integrates with the NSW Government Radio Network via ISSI interfaces and also includes Harris Network First Gateways (NFG's) for 4WE&M interfacing. The console system and NFG's are located at SES Headquarters in Wollongong. The HF radio network must be interfaced to the console system to allow communications between the operations centre and members in the field.
    Value Add:
The SES is seeking to maximise its value from the digital HF transceivers it has purchased. Respondents should detail any additional systems or services that they believe will add value to the SES's use of this equipment.· Training:
The installation of digital HF equipment is a first for NSW SES. The majority of SES members have no experience with the technology and will need instruction and guidance on how to get the best performance from these systems. The SES is seeking training services from vendors to be delivered at each of the Unit and Region HQ locations across the Far West Region of the state. This could be provided in many ways including:
    · face-to-face training
    · remotely classroom training using internet based services
    · on-line self faced training modules
Estimated Value: From $200,000.00 to $300,000.00.

    Request for Proposals (RFP).
Overview: Inland Revenue (IR) is in the midst of a multi-year, multi-stage transformation programme which will soon see our business operating in a much more agile, customer focused and intelligence led way. To achieve this, we need our people to work in new and different ways, and for our focus to shift more broadly onto people's capabilities, rather than the specific tasks that they do.
In response, 12 people capabilities have been created to enable IR to reach its future vision. Each capability is defined as a mix of a person's skills, knowledge, experience and attitudes. These people capabilities are relevant for all roles and everyone in IR, and will need to be embedded into all our workplace and people practices over time.
This RFP is seeking a provider of an online self-service assessment tool/service, which will assess people capabilities, and assess their potential - using the Leadership Character elements of the State Service Commission's (SSC) Leadership Success Profile (LSP). IR requires:· A portal (hosted either internally or externally)
    · The content (assessment items)
    · Assessment result outputs (data and reports) for the business, managers, and individuals.

Numbers of phones, attendant consoles, kiosks and ancillary equipment will vary depending on the correctional centre and local conditions.

DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS. ACTION TRACKER - SOFTWARE AS A SERVICE.
    RFx ID: 18296390.
    Reference: 15898
Close Date: Wednesday 15 February 2017 at 12.00 pm.
    Request for Proposals (RFP).
Overview: We need to procure an established software as a service offering from a vendor who has met (or can meet) GCIO security and privacy requirements for a hosted solution, that will provide workflow/tracking for all reports and actions resulting from reports for the Department. The solution should also provide consistent risk ratings, and escalation of overdue actions.
The Department wants to develop a central register/repository for all reviews, reports and audits, and a mechanism to assess risk, and capture critical actions. This would preferably enable appropriate visibility and management of the actions taken as a result of recommendations or findings from those reviews, reports and audits; a risk profile for each recommendation; and a reporting functionality for the actions undertaken in response to each review, report and audit.
All communications to suppliers and submission of responses will be done via GETS.
