    Tender Details: Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for the design supply, installation, testing and commissioning of new CCTV system at Paul Keating Park to comply with relevant standards and satisfy current industry. This includes the provision of all necessary labour, plants and materials to undertake the works at Paul Keating Park and upgrade of the monitoring system at Council's Security and Building Manager's Offices located at level P1, Civic Tower.
    The proposed CCTV system includes the design, supply, installation and commissioning of four (4) Pan Tilt and Zoom cameras (PTZ) and four (4) fixed cameras as well as a new system to monitor and store all footages and review them as required.
    Work must conform to good industry practice and to the relevant standards currently used in Australia, and in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and installation instructions.
    Refer to concept plans which are separately attached to this document.
    A full description of the nature and extent of the services required by Council are set out in Section 3 of this Request.
    Additional Details / Instructions: Council will conduct a compulsory briefing on site. The compulsory briefing for potential Tenderers to be held as follows: Time: 2:00pm. Date: Tuesday 7th March 2017.

    Description: The Commonwealth intends to engage a suitably qualified and experienced Multimedia Technology Contractor to undertake the development, supply, installation and commissioning of the following:
    a. a centralised multimedia server system (media and audio);
    b. wireless and cabled networks;
    c. beacons or other equivalent user tracking technology;
    d. display hardware including leading edge flat-panel displays and screen mounts in various sizes, touch displays and infra-red backed touch tables, localised spatial recognition cameras and projectors (estimated approximately 320 individual UHD (4K) screens and 10 projectors);
    e. cabled infrastructure;
    f. show-control software which controls the sequencing of lighting and
    other theatrical elements of the interpretive design;
    g. ambient and directional speakers;
    h. video distribution systems; and
    i. loan smartphone devices.
    Other Instructions: This Request for EOIs (REOIs) is the first stage of a two stage procurement process to select a Multimedia Technology Contractor (Contractor) to provide the Services. DVA will shortlist Respondents from the EOI process who will be invited to submit a tender in the second stage, the Request for Tender (RFT). A failure to respond to this REOI will result in a potential supplier not being eligible to participate in any subsequent RFT process.
    This REOI is an invitation only and the submission of a response by any Respondent will not give rise to process or other contractual obligations,
    expressed or implied.
    Subject to its rights under paragraph 4.5, however, DVA may at any stage in this evaluation process:
    a. issue a limited RFT to one or more short listed Respondents or
    b. proceed directly to contract negotiations with one or more short listed Respondents.
    Conditions for Participation:
    a. the Respondent (or any of its proposed subcontractors) must not be named as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (see EOI paragraph 5.3)

    Tender Details: Expressions of Interest (EOI) are invited from organisations wishing to be pre-registered to tender for the proposed contract for the construction of Package A of the M4 Smart Motorway project.
    Package A forms part of the overall 36 km stretch of M4 corridor subject to 'managed motorway' upgrades which has been divided into several packages based on delivery and procurement methodology.
    The scope of works for Package A includes:· Widening of M4 Motorway between Roper Road and the M7 to four lanes in each direction
    · Noise wall construction works
    · Upgrade of power and communications cableway between east of Mamre Road and east of Reservoir Road interchanges
    · Installation of footings for Integrated Speed and Lane Use Sign (ISLUS) gantries and VMS between Mamre Road and Reservoir Road interchanges
    · Civil ramp upgrades to five entry ramps, including noise walls, ramp metering signals, ramp control signs, vehicle detection and CCTV cameras at:
    - Roper Road eastbound entry ramp
    - Wallgrove Road westbound entry ramp
    - Wallgrove Road eastbound entry ramp
    - M7 westbound entry ramp
    - M7 eastbound entry ramp (incl retaining wall)
    Mandatory Option - Civil works at the Reservoir Road interchange including:
    - Bridge widening works
    - Culvert extension works
    - Civil ramp upgrades, including ramp metering signals, ramp control signs, vehicle detection and CCTV cameras
    The applicant must be prequalified under the National Prequalification System for Civil (Road and Bridge) Construction Contracts at Category R5 or higher for Roadworks, B3 or higher for Bridgeworks and Financial level F100 or higher.
    The successful applicant is to provide construction services under a 'Construct Only' contract and will be selected through a two stage procurement process. The first phase requires applicants to submit an EOI. The EOI submissions will be evaluated against specific criteria in order to shortlist applicants for participation in the second phase. The second phase will be governed by a separate Request for Tender (RFT) issued to shortlisted applicants followed by a detailed evaluation process. Upon completion of the evaluation process, a GC21 Contract will be finalised and awarded to the successful tenderer.
    All applicants must comply with the NSW Code of Practice for Procurement (NSW Code) and the New South Wales Government's Implementation Guidelines to the New South Wales Code of Practice for Procurement: Building and Construction Industry (NSW Guidelines). The Building Code 2013 (Building Code) and the Supporting Guidelines to the Building Code 2013 (Supporting Guidelines) apply to this project.
    It is a requirement of this project that the successful contractor be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme (the Scheme) established by the Fair Work (Building Industry) Act 2012 (FWBI Act) at the time of entering into the contract for the contract work as defined under section 5 of the FWBI Act and maintains accreditation under that Scheme while the contract work is being carried out.
    Regulation 24(h) of the Fair Work (Building Industry - Accreditation Scheme) Regulations 2005 outlines provisions applying to joint venture /alliance arrangements that include accredited and unaccredited members.
