Expressions of Interest.
Lihir Gold Limited (LGL), a fully-owned subsidiary of Newcrest Mining Limited, invites expressions of interest from experienced and qualified professional service providers to submit proposals for programming and configuration of Foxboro Distribution System. LGL conducts its mining operations at its mine site on Lihir Island, Papua New Guinea and the successful supplier will be required to deliver its services on site.
General information:· Respondents will have a record of successful professional service delivery in heavy industry or mining sector.
· Respondents will have demonstrated capability to supply quality professional staff.
· This is an exclusive service arrangement for at least two staff spanning an initial six month period with option to increase.
· A standard form Newcrest supply contract will be executed.
· Services will be delivered at the mine site on Lihir Island.
· Significant experience with programming and configuration of Foxboro DSC.
· Experience in programming and configuration of PLC and SCADA. Preferably Allen Bradley or Schneider
· Experience in design and commissioning of control system networks.

THE WERRIBEE IRRIGATION DISTRICT (WID) modernisation project involves the replacement of an existing irrigation channel system with a new piped network and upgraded customer outlets.
The piping of the district will be undertaken in five separate stages over the next five years, starting with Stage 1 in the winter of 2017.
This tender is for the supply of the flow meters for Stage 1 (2017), 2 (2018) and 3 (2019) of the project.

Overview: Council committed to the building of a water play area for Porirua in the 2015-2025 Long Term Plan. The water play project was funded over the 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 financial years.
Children and young people were consulted on the water play project in late 2015. The consultation showed the preferred location was Aotea Lagoon and a splash pad as the preferred water play type.
Aotea Lagoon is Council's only destination play space. Located in the suburb of Papakowhai the park features a tidal lagoon with multiple recreational activities and amenities.
Within the Park, the location identified is the duck pond area located between the existing play area and the northern toilets. The duck pond is to be removed and the new water play space created.
Council has engaged consulting firm Orogen Limited to carry out all engineering works associated with the project including designing for dewatering the duck pond, dealing with the stormwater, engineering a suitable base for the splash pad and acting as Engineer to Contract for the physical works. Orogen are also working with the planning firm 4 Sight Consulting to achieve the required resource consents.
Council has awarded contract to PlayRope for the specialist supply and install of the splash pad. This contract only covers the supply and installation of the 250m2 splash pad with corresponding infrastructure. The preparation of the site ready for the splash pad and the tidy works after the splash pad is installed are covered under the civil works contract.
